Take the first step in your career with JAM Training & Education

If you’re thinking of a career in early years make sure you give yourself the best start by enrolling on our NVQ Level 2 for the Children & Young Peoples Workforce (CYPW).

The Level 2 Certificate for the Children and Young People’s Workforce is for those who are starting their career in childcare, and is an excellent preparation for the Level 3 Diploma. It qualifies an individual to work as a nursery nurse, childminder or teaching assistant.

The certificate is a combination of knowledge and competence units. It is 35 credits in size. Credits are a combination of guided learning hours, private study and assessment, and learners can build up credits at their own pace until they have achieved the certificate.

These qualifications entry requirements have not changed; there are no entry requirements for this course (other than the usual basic skill assessment)
